About
The Alexandra Stoddard practice is just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Worcester.
I have worked with individuals from professional sports clubs such as Worcestershire County Cricket Club, as well as football, rugby, cricket and rowing stars from amateur to international level. Having started in 1998, many people have been able to benefit from my treatment. I now work with a lot of people on general therapy, including degenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s Disease and multiple sclerosis.
I studied sports massage to an advanced level and did further studies in anatomy and the muscular system at Bristol University before being introduced to orthopaedic massage. I now bring a variety of different styles together. This involves a gentler approach to deep tissue massage, stretching, and re-educating the memory and elasticity of the muscles.
I am a member of the London and Counties Society of Physiologists and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council.
